Learn differences in flavor among wines made from the same grapes. Discover how they were made differently or come from a different “terroir” aka soil or climate.
Find out about the chateau or the winemaker and try other wines from the same maker or area.
In a restaurant, describe a wine that you liked, what it tasted like, and ask the waiter (or sommelier) to recommend another one. Don’t be snob, just curious and enthusiastic. Nobody can resist having you taste their wine and seeing you loving it
